Privacy policy

This site collects as little as possible. No cookies are set, no advertising network is connected and no data goes to Google or any other company. Below is exactly what does happen.

Last updated: October 2026.

Who processes your data

Timotheus van Corven, trading as TVC. A sole proprietorship under Polish law (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza), tax number NIP 6772388817, based at Niezapominajek 7a/26, 30-239 Kraków, Poland. You can reach us at info@huiskopeninpolen.nl.

The contact form

If you fill in the form, we process your name, your email address, any link to a property and your message. We use that data for one thing: answering your question. The legal basis for that is your request to be contacted.

What you enter is forwarded by email to our own mailbox and not stored on the website. One exception: if sending fails, the site keeps your message temporarily so that your question is not silently lost. Once it has been answered after all, that copy is deleted.

We keep the email itself for as long as we need it to help you, and after that for as long as the law requires us to.

Visitor statistics

We count how many people view which page, with software that runs on our own server. No cookie is set and no data goes to Google or any other party. To tell whether someone is new or returning, the counter calculates a short code from your IP address and browser settings that cannot be traced back to you; your IP address itself is not stored. Because no cookie is set, there is no cookie banner on this site either.

Where the data is kept

The website and the mailbox run at OVH, a French hosting company, on servers within the European Union. We do not sell anything on and share nothing with third parties, unless the law requires us to.

Your rights

You can ask which data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. An email to info@huiskopeninpolen.nl is enough. If you disagree with how we handle it, you can complain to a data protection authority: in Poland that is the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or you can go to the authority in the country where you live.
